Our mother purchased the Beach House as a "weekend getaway" and eventually permanant vacation from the daily grind of farm life while her children would continue to operate Once in a Blue Moon Farm. The Beach House is an escape, immersed in the salty ocean air, a place where the sounds of breaking waves and tranquil waterfront lull you to sleep.
It is the seaside at it's best. It is the Sleeping Sea.

Since 2004 Sleeping Sea has hosted vacation guests enjoying the beauty of
Orcas Island on the beach in the martime Pacific Northwest.
